Fighter pilot

3ds Max 2010 + Vray + Mudbox 2010 + UVlayout + Photoshop

After many months of hard work,test and attempts finally I completed my latest 3d work.
"Fighter pilot"
Inspired by a mission from Battlefield 3 and my passion for aircraft and anything that flies.
I started in january to model the helmet first and the pilot suit next.
I used google image and flickr for searching some photo reference of the suit,the belts and the helmet.
Next I started to add details using mudbox and UV map using UVlayout.
For a few months I had to abandon the project for several reason(my job,hobbies,girls and friends).
In june I started again,drawing the maps and setting up the materials to obtain the best result.
In july I start to model the pilot cockpit and interior details.
In the last two weeks I spent some time for correction,enhancing,rendering,compositing and postproduction.
